Fake Name Doesn't Work for Man Found with Drugs

Fake names aren't going to stoop the Brandon Police.

However a 23 year old man tried that technique when police went to make an arrest Monday morning on 10th street.

Officers recognized the man due to his facial tattoos.

A search found he was in possession of cocaine and methamphetamine valued at 500-dollars.

Earlier the morning officers also stopped a taxi on Victoria Avenue.

After the passenger, 22 year old woman, gave a fake name police found she was breaching a curfew and had a can of bear spray in her possession.

Both made court appearances this morning.
