Papirny in a Crease All His Own

Former Wheat Kings goaltender Jordan Papirny has won the WHL goaltender of the week honours.

He finished with a 2.47 goals-against average, .940 save percentage and stopped 126 shots in three games this past week with his current team, the Swift Current Broncos.

The Broncos won Game 7 against the Moose Jaw Warriors and have a 2-1 series lead against the Regina Pats.

The Broncos claimed Game 3 2-1 in overtime against the Pats on Monday.

Papirny was traded from the Wheat Kings to the Broncos at this year's WHL trade deadline.
